About Us

Hello and thanks for visiting us!

Here at Snip to It you’ll find tutorials, printable guides, fun projects and free cut files, mainly for people using Cricut and other cutting machines. Our HTV time/temp charts and decal sizing & placement guide have been used by thousands of crafters, and we have kept expanding to include design templates, font guides, and cut files. We aim to provide crafters with the best, most concise and useful information possible.

We know that not everyone likes videos, so although we have a YouTube channel, our site is full of written pictorials, in case you find them easier to follow.

People who craft are the fabric that holds their families, workplaces, and communities together. We are here to help you!

What we believe:

  • creating is for everyone, and everyone is welcome here
  • the best projects are personal, not perfect
  • our tutorials are written according to what we know and has worked for us, but there are a lot of different ways to tackle any project – you will find what works for you!
  • some things can make projects significantly easier, but you shouldn’t have to keep buying expensive equipment! DIY means making stuff with what you’ve got, so let’s innovate!

Who are we, anyway?

Wearing our custom Tremors-themed t-shirts. Stampede! Stampede, Earl!

We are a married couple who love to make projects together!

Ian has years of experience with Adobe, Affinity, and other design software. He’s the guy behind our technical design tutorials, including unique takes on Design Space like the double-sided print & cut and stitch line hacks. Ian always has a new t-shirt design on the go. Favorite font: Cooper Black or Peralta.

Kerri is the materials and construction expert. She loves to learn absolutely everything about the physics and chemistry of the materials we work with and put them all to the test. Kerri’s favorite thing to make is custom cards for birthdays. Favorite font: Bauhaus 93 or an MCM script font.

We hope you find something that teaches or inspires you here!
