Super Easy Father’s Day cards for beginners and 11th hour crafting
Far from the Tree card by Snip to It!
We originally designed this card for Mother’s Day but it applies to awesome dads, too. We celebrate all the dads, stepdads, and grandfathers who love unconditionally, no matter how different their kids may be. An easy insert card that is perfect for beginners and requires only cardstock and a pen, you can personalize it in your dad’s fave colors. You can get the SVG from the Father’s Day section of our Resource Library.
Father’s Day outline cards by the Bearded Housewife
We love these super easy but adorable insert cards from crafty dad Nick at the Bearded Housewife. Great for beginners but such a sweet image of father and child, personalize it with Dad’s favorite color. You can very easily mirror the image so you can write on the inside with a pen and make the card in one step.

You don’t even need any cutting machine to make this cool card, just print and cut the image to size, stick it on a base and you’re done!
Intermediate Father’s Day crafts when you have a little more time
Mid-Century “Premium Papa” layered card by Snip to It!
This snazzy card is a new addition to the roundup for 2025. We’ve been big fans of MCM style art and design forever, so this year we thought we’d give our own Dads this mid-century inspired card. It turned out so well, we had to share it with everybody! The card we made is a combination of cardstock and vinyl, but you can make it any way you like! The card base fits inside a standard 5×7 envelope so there’s no need to scramble to make something custom. Download the SVG file in our Resource Library.
Here’s a tip: want to make assembling these small pieces easier for yourself? Check out our tutorial on adding score lines as a placement guide for cardmaking.

We love a great theme around here, so we’re offering our take on a classic. Whether you’re looking for a card for a new dad in your life, or your own dad as an adult, this is a fun way to celebrate. We sent our dads the landscape (baby mobile) version of the card this year.
Tuxedo envelope for Father’s Day, grad or weddings by Snip to It!
This was the envelope we designed for our Goodfather cards, with Vito Corleone’s signature rose boutonniere. Our envelope opens from the side, as a tux jacket would, and is perfect for cards and gift cards. This is a fairly simple project that you can use for all kinds of occasions.
Koala Father’s Day card by Crafting in the Rain
Stephanie from Crafting in the Rain designed this totally cute pun card for Father’s Day. This fun design uses adhesive vinyl so it might pose a bit of a challenge if you haven’t used that material before, but you should be able to create this card fairly easily.
“If Dad can’t fix it…” SVG from Gina C. Creates
This SVG from Gina C. can be used for a card, t-shirt, or blackboard sign like her featured image. You can choose this version or “If Papa can’t fix it…” A fun way to celebrate a handy dad!
Dad Joke SVG by Artsy Fartsy Mama
We love the humor and fun of Lindsay’s projects at Artsy Fartsy Mama, and this was our favorite dad joke project. This design looks great on a shirt, but you could also use it to make a mug or tumbler using adhesive vinyl or Infusible Ink (use another color for the writing).
No Name Generic Father’s Day card by Snip to It!
If you’re Canadian, you’ll recognize this right away. Ian designed this last year, so if you’re boycotting Loblaws right now, we totally get it. But still, an iconic card for an iconic dad! Two alternate versions of the inside of the card are shown below. You can find the free SVG in our Resource Library in the Father’s Day section and make it with just yellow cardstock and black vinyl.

No. 1 Dad Badge card by Craft with Sarah
This is a very fun project that is a card and a badge you can put on Dad. Perfect if you’ve got little kids, Sarah makes it easy to customize the colors just for the man of the day. You could even add Dad’s name and the year on the tails of the ribbons if you like. A cute keepsake that will look great in photos!
Layered Cardstock Dad SVG by Extraordinary Chaos
We like this cool cutout by Sarah at Extraordinary Chaos, which isn’t a card but can be used in many different ways. You can choose either ‘DAD’ or ‘DADDY’ versions of the SVG and the cardstock lettering can be used as an embellishment for a card or a cake topper. You could also cut the design out of vinyl and use it on a mug, or create an HTV version for a shirt.

Another unique card from Carmel at Crazy Cricut Lady, it’s nice to see Dad associated with some hearts for a change! This four panel card folding card features lots of cool Art Deco details (which we love) and bright colors. A great alternative to all of the over-the-top masculine cards that you see.
